MetPump® allows us to combine multiple shapes into single, larger precast shapes, reducing the number of joints as well as the number of parts to inventory.
Fewer joints means fewer issues that can cause car misalignment, loss of heat seal or overheating of wheels, leading to car failure, kiln damage and a potential shutdown.
Larger shapes also reduce kiln car set up time and increase worker safety by eliminating manual lifting.
